  1. Go to a matinee.

  2. Repot a plant.

  3. Take a walk outside.

  4. Unplug the phone and enjoy some peace and quiet.

  5. Hang a feeder and watch the birds.

  6. Write letters.

  7. Pack a picnic and invite a friend to lunch.

  8. Buy some exotic teas or coffee.

  9. Visit an old friend.

  10. People-watch.

  11. Take a bubble bath by candlelight.

  12. Go to the zoo.

  13. Buy yourself flowers.

  14. Sing a song out loud.

  15. Watch the sunrise or sunset.

  16. Get a massage.

  17. Read some poetry or compose a poem.

  18. Do nothing but listen to relaxing music for 20 minutes.
